65km for Cystic Fibrosis

The annual ’65km for Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is on again in 2023.

This 6.5km to 65km endurance walk or run around Princes Park and Royal Park in Melbourne on Saturday March 18 will raise essential funds for CF research.

Cystic fibrosis is a chronic inherited condition that affects the lungs and digestive system. There are about 70,000 people worldwide living with CF.

All proceeds from ’65km for Cystic Fibrosis’ will be directed to  CF research or research that improves the quality of CF care in hospitals as this is known to be essential for good health outcomes.

Over the past decade, this event has successfully raised over $900,000 thanks to the dedication and support of volunteers and participants.

Monash Health Foundation is thrilled to again be supporting this event, and look forward to seeing you there for a day of fitness and fundraising!

UPDATE!

This year, organisers were aiming to raise$100,000 in order to reach their overarching goal of $1 million since the event began 10 years ago.

We’re thrilled to report that not only did they reach this goal, but they exceeded it! Congratulations to the organisers and participants for achieving a total of$107,400 for 2023!
