Gifts in Wills

Leaving a Legacy Gift in Gratitude

Having a Will in place is essential for protecting your family and leaving a lasting legacy. By including a gift in your Will to Monash Health (also known as a bequest), you create a legacy that will have a lasting impact on patient care, education, and medical research.

A legacy gift made in gratitude is a profound way to express your appreciation and ensure that your values and support continue to benefit others long into the future. Such a gift can help sustain the vital work of Monash Health—enhancing medical services, supporting the training and education of healthcare professionals, and advancing groundbreaking research that leads to better treatments and cures.

By making this lasting contribution, you not only honour the impact these services have had on your life or the lives of loved ones, but you also create a meaningful gift that will have a lasting, positive impact on future generations.

Your gift—no matter how large or small—will create a legacy that makes a difference in patient care, education, and medical research.

Why Gifts in Wills are Important

Throughout the history of Monash Health, gifts of all sizes from generous individuals have significantly impacted our ability to save and improve lives. These contributions have helped establish new hospitals,  supported advancements in patient care, funded critical medical research, and enhanced educational programs for healthcare professionals.

Each gift, whether large or small, has played a crucial role in our mission to provide exceptional healthcare and foster innovation, ensuring that we can continue to meet the needs of our community and improve health outcomes for all.

By making a provision in your Will to Monash Health, or a specific hospital, program or service, you give a gift that makes a difference beyond your lifetime.

How to Make a Gift in Your Will

Leaving a gift to Monash Health can make a significant difference in the lives of future generations. Every gift, whether large or small, is a lasting legacy of gratitude.

You can choose from several types of bequests:

You may also specify that your gift be used for a particular hospital, program or service. For example:

  • To address the health service’s most urgent needs.
