Supporting autism research to empower patients and families

This month, BioAutism, a charity that fundraises for autism research, is helping to raise funds for the development of the UNIQUE app – a groundbreaking digital tool co-created with researchers at Monash Health and Monash University.

The UNIQUE app is designed to empower autistic children and their families by making it easier to communicate their children’s unique challenges and support needs swiftly and confidently with healthcare professionals, so every child can receive personalised care and have a more positive hospital experience.

To help bring this project to life, BioAutism is running the Burpees for Autism Challenge. You can join in fundraising by committing to do burpees for 14 days or showing your support with a one-off donation.

Every contribution goes directly towards making the UNIQUE app a reality and supporting families on their journey at Monash Children’s Hospital.
