Community members gathered at the Wat Buddharangsi Buddhist Temple in Springvale South on Sunday, 29 March – celebrating the annual Buddhist Flower Ceremony.
The cultural event included traditional offerings, with the Cambodian community choosing to raise funds to support the Monash Health Foundation and young patients and their families at Monash Children’s Hospital.
Thanks to the community’s incredible generosity, close to $30,000 was raised on the day, for patient and family-centred care initiatives that will ease challenges for patients and their families when they need it most.
