The annual Bailey’s Day golf tournament and luncheon is going to be all the more special in 2023.
Bailey would have turned 21 this year, so his family are putting together an extra special event to celebrate Bailey’s legacy.
Sadly, Bailey passed away at the age of just 2 and a half as a result of a brain tumour. Bailey and his family became part of the Monash family as he underwent treatment at the Monash Children’s Cancer Centre.
In honour of Bailey’s short life, his father began his mission to raise funds to help treat children just like Bailey – and has gone on to raise over $4 million to help fund the training of oncologists specialising in brain tumour research.
Bailey’s Day will take place on Friday March 3 at the beautiful Woodlands golf course for a round of golf, a delicious lunch, live auctions, special patient speakers and above all, to raise vital funds for the Monash Children’s Cancer Centre.
This year the event hopes to raise enough to train a further 3 oncologists, so that by Bailey’s 21st birthday, 21 specialist oncologists will have been supported.

UPDATE!
Thanks to the generosity of so many across the community, Bailey’s Day 2023 raised over$430,000 in support of Monash Children’s Cancer Centre.
