The Monash Health Foundation is a proud partner of Hospitals United for Sick Kids, a national alliance raising funds in support of children’s hospitals throughout Australia.
This National Children’s Week, we joined forces to celebrate the launch of the brand-new Blip Plushie, sold at Toymate stores nationally, with 100% of proceeds helping to support sick kids and their families.
The Blip Plushie joins the growing mix of products available through retail partners such as Coles and Lowes to help sick kids get back to the things they miss sooner.
Coles ‘Mum’s Sause’ and ‘Mum’s Jam‘ ranges donate 50 cents for every jar sold throughout the year and Lowes, recently launched their third annual ‘Bucket Hats that Give Back’ campaign, donating $10 from every bucket hat sold.
The unique aspect of funds raised through Hospitals United for Sick Kids is that proceeds from products sold support the children’s hospital in that state or region. All sales within Victoria support initiatives at Monash Children’s Hospital.
Through their incredible support, our care teams have been able to bring vital projects to life that help our patients get home to their families and the things they miss.
Since 2019, Hospitals United for Sick Kids has distributed over $1.5 million from product sales to support key priority projects at Monash Children’s Hospital such as the development of the new paediatric Emergency Department, accelerated research to help vulnerable babies thrive and helped expand our Hospital in the Home services, so even more young patients can safely get back to their local community and loved ones sooner, where they belong.
