Thanks to the generous contributions of the Aaron Sansoni Foundation, care teams at Monash Children’s Hospital have been able to purchase vital medical equipment to enhance care across our wards, paediatric emergency department and even in patient family homes.
The suite of equipment includes a state-of-the-art ultrasound machine for emergency care, a speech-generating device to support communication in young patients who are non-verbal, a Pilates reformer bed for rehabilitation in our patient gym and, portable breathing pumps for our Hospital in the Home program, so more young patients can get home safely, to their communities and loved ones.
