Melbourne tea company Chai Lords have kindly donated to Monash Health 50,000 of their chai and turmeric tea sachets. This is the company’s way of saying thank you to Monash Health employees who have worked tirelessly to keep our community safe.
Chai Lords have donated enough tea to ensure every employee of Monash Health receives two sachets of their signature product.
Teavision and Chai Lords brand director Thu Nguyen described the motivation behind the gift.
“We have all been personally affected in some way throughout this pandemic. Not only do we want to say thank you to the nurses and doctors and allied health professionals, but also to everyone in the healthcare service from the admin employees to cleaners. We appreciate their hard work,” Thu said.
Ron Fairchild, Director of the Monash Health Foundation expressed thanks on behalf of all employees.
“Our sincere thanks to Chai Lords and Teavision for their generous donation. This gift is a wonderful way for the organisation to express thanks to our healthcare workers. I am sure that Monash Health employees across our health service will enjoy trying the chai and turmeric tea,” Ron said.
