Monash Health is inviting patients and their loved ones to thank their healthcare team for the care received, through a grateful donation.
In a program run by the Monash Health Foundation, patients can support Monash Health’s highest priority projects at the same time as thanking their Monash Health team for the care provided.
Director of the Monash Health Foundation Ron Fairchild said that patients could choose their own donation level.
“Patients, their family and friends are being invited to make a gift that is meaningful for them. This is a personal donation in support of what ‘grateful giving’ means to each person,” Ron said.
“It’s a terrific way for patients and their loved ones to thank their healthcare team and the wider team at Monash Health – from those at the frontline of patient care such as nurses, midwives, doctors and allied health professionals, to the important back-of-house support teams,” he said.
“The Grateful Giving program is an exciting initiative and I would encourage all patients, families and friends to get involved at a level that has meaning for them.”
