Monash Children’s Cancer Centre (MCCC) and the Monash Health Foundation hosted a group of dedicated community members from the Rotary Club of Greater Dandenong and Endeavour Hills in acknowledgement of their recent fundraising efforts.
As part of Chinese New Year celebrations, the club held a dinner and went on to raise $10,000 for MCCC, presenting the funds to A/Prof Peter Downie, Director of the Cancer Centre.
The group participated in a tour and enjoyed a morning tea with Nurse Unit Manager Michael Schilling and Family and Community Liason, Rebecca Pahl. They had the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the patient experience at the Cancer Centre.
