We’re proud to celebrate the impactful partnership between the Children’s Cancer Foundation and Monash Health Foundation.
Established in 1992 by parents supporting each other through their children’s cancer journeys, the Children’s Cancer Foundation has grown to fund clinical care, allied health roles, research programs, and clinical trials across Australia and in our own community, at Monash Children’s Cancer Centre.
Led by dedicated volunteers with lived experience, the Foundation remains deeply connected to families, ensuring compassionate, family-centred care. Their ongoing support has been instrumental in shaping the Monash Children’s Cancer Centre and helping our care teams provide world-leading care.
Most recently, the Children’s Cancer Foundation funded the launch of an initiative through The Children’s Cancer CoLab, to accelerate research, improve clinical translation, and strengthen outcomes for children and young people with cancer, with our own Biobank.
They will also be supporting a new Patient Navigator Role at Monash Children’s Cancer Centre to ensure families are further supported at every step of the way, as they face the dynamic landscape of childhood cancer.
We were proud to host guests from the Children’s Cancer Foundation team recently and unveil a special plaque at Monash Children’s Cancer Centre, recognising their incredible support and how it is improving the quality of life for our young patients now – and well into the future.
On behalf of our clinicians and every family who has walked through our doors, thank you to the Children’s Cancer Foundation. To learn more about the Children’s Cancer Foundation, please visit: https://www.childrenscancerfoundation.com.au/
